    =========================
    Case number: 848
    Charges:
    F13 (Criminal Mischief)

    Defendant: Ashley Briggs
    Defense Attorney: TBD

    =========================
    Arresting (Charging Agency) Officer: Sgt. Clarkson

    Officer(s) Involved: N/A

    Witnesses: N/A

    Evidence: 8x Mag, 1x Tazer and 1x Bat
    Incident Summary:
    On 03/20/2020 I J. Clarkson (209) and Pre-Cad Ride along G. Wright (C-9) were sitting at Paleto Plaza, when the suspect ran up to my patrol vehicle (Ford Truck F-250) and started to have a normal conversation. After a few moments the suspect later ID'ed as Ashley Briggs Via Government ID she asked me what would be the charge if she were to taze my tires, I informed her of the possible charge it could be "Destruction of government property" which after Two to Five seconds later she proceeded to pop my front driver side tire then my rear driver side tire at which point I exited my vehicle and ordered Miss Briggs to turn around. She was searched, placed in the back of my vehicle and transported to Paleto SO to be booked and processed. Once in the cell I requested for her Plea at first she said Not-Guilty then changed to Guilty due to tensions running high regarding the situation I am unsure which Plea she is requesting and putting forward a Plea of Not-Guilty for Miss Biggs.

    Miss Biggs was Jailed for 20 Months and given a $6,250 USD fine

    Your Honor,

    Due to a administrative error caused by myself the BCSO will no longer be pushing the charge of "F13 (Criminal Mischief)" and we will be downgrading it too "M15 (Criminal Mischief)" this is do to the amount of damage done to my cruiser.

    Charges will be updated per BCSO request.

    At this time I find there to be sufficient and probable cause in allowing this case to proceed.
    Trial begins on the 27th day of March at 1200 hours
    Trial ends on 3rd day of April at 1200 hours
    The Trial will last 7 days

    Judge Daniel Williams

    If it is being downgraded to M15 from F13 I do not need a trial for this issue.

    @Ashley

    Ms. Briggs are you telling the court that at this time you would like to plea "Guilty" to the charge of M15 - Criminal Mischief?
